Job Summary:
The HVAC-R Technician performs mechanical diagnostics on a variety of building systems, providing clients with proposed solutions discovered through the diagnostic process. The technician needs a strong acumen in chillers, boilers, RTUs, split systems, VRF systems, refrigeration, controls, and other building mechanical systems.

Essential Functions:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose building mechanical systems (including but not limited to: RTUs, split systems, VRFs, boilers, chillers, AHU and VAV).
  • Must be familiar with Gas and Oil Units
  • Capable of repairing and/or installing proposed diagnosis for steam and hydronic systems.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and perform annual maintenance and cleaning on the above units
  • Manage onsite communication with customers and facility directors.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

 

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

 

  • Bronx, NY 10454: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

 

Experience:

 

  • HVAC: 1 year (Required)

 

Work Location: In person

Responsibility
